The bottom line, the short-term trend is not clear. I hold both long and short overnight.
I have no idea about tomorrow, the seasonality favors bull though as according to Stock Trader’s Almanac (2011), first trading day in December, NASDAQ up 17 of 23, down 3 straight 2006 – 2008. Also, in case you want to know, there’s a potential buy setup pending because VIX closed above its BB top. As soon as it falls into its BB top, the buy signal is confirmed. However, because the SPY ST Model now is in SELL mode, so the signal is invalid for me as back test shows not much edge in this case.
